Exterior Stucco
Exterior stucco is one of the most durable, weather-resistant cladding systems available for Canadian homes and buildings — when it’s installed correctly. A proper system integrates a weather-resistive barrier, drainage plane, lath, base coat, reinforcing mesh and finish coat into a monolithic envelope that stands up to decades of freeze-thaw, UV and wind-driven rain.
We install new stucco, re-stucco aged exteriors, and repair localized failures across the GTA. Residential and commercial. Traditional three-coat cementitious, acrylic finish coats, and modern rainscreen assemblies — all with our minimum 5-year written warranty on labour and material.
What’s Included
Stucco is a system, not a coating. Every installation includes the hidden layers that make the visible finish last.
Weather-resistive barrier and flashings
Self-furring metal lath, mechanically fastened
Scratch and brown base coats
Fibreglass mesh reinforcement
Acrylic or cementitious finish coat
Full clean-up and site restoration
Why Choose Stucco?
Stucco is fire-resistant, pest-resistant, doesn’t rot, doesn’t need repainting every five years like wood siding, and — with modern drainage-plane assemblies — sheds water as well as any cladding on the market. Installed correctly, a stucco exterior lasts 40-60 years. That’s why it’s the dominant cladding on so many GTA new builds and renovations.

Exterior Stucco FAQ
How long does exterior stucco last?
A properly installed stucco system — with intact weather-resistive barrier, proper lath attachment and a quality finish coat — typically lasts 40-60 years. Most failures we repair are tied to improper flashing at windows and rooflines, not failures of the stucco itself.
Can you match an existing stucco texture?
Yes — we sample on-site before starting any patch or re-stucco project, and test finish coats on a hidden wall section until we've got a match you approve. Smooth, float, sand and heavy textures are all in our crews' regular rotation.
Is stucco still a good choice for the GTA climate?
Yes — modern stucco systems with a drainage plane behind the lath handle Canadian weather as well or better than most alternatives. The systems that fail are older single-wall stucco without a drainage plane, or installations where flashing details were skipped.
Do you work on commercial stucco buildings?
Yes. Commercial retrofits, condo-building re-stucco, and industrial stucco repairs are a regular part of our workload. Swing-stage and boom-lift work included.
